He's a scrapperThe vet prescribed an anti-anxiety medication. We give it to him at night, and he's fine. Doesn't howl to go out, sleeps soundly, and he seems perky in the morning. We are very pleased - he's even more playful and pleasant to the dog. But he still wants to go outside and even a short visit to the front yard can result in a rumble with his mortal enemy Jack. Today he bit my husband as he collected him from yet another escape from the house/fight with Jack escapade. If anyone has suggesti... |

Allergic to FleasMy vet and I tried all kinds of steroids, etc. to help his fur return to no use. Revolution did not work on Leo. I switched to Advantage Multi and decided to put 99% Aloe Vera gel on his almost furless body. Everytime Leo walked by me I was putting more Aloe Vera on him. He growled and hissed at me, but since I drink Aloe Vera Juice everday for the last nine years since I was diagnosed with Chrons and it has saved my life, I knew that this would help his skin heal, plus keep any fleas off and w... |

Yes, but it works!Staff helped us understand the types of litter and box styles available, and while Hans persisted in marking and urinating indoors, we did find a litter that our other cats really like and we like because of the great odor control and controlled tracking (Cat Country Regular). Since we noticed that Hans liked to claw his Phoenix upright wooden post almost every time he passed, we purchased another to place in front of the area he tended to mark thinking we could deflect his urine making beha... |

Cat AcneMy cats health was as important to me as was mine. One day he came home all torn up. Something had slashed him all over. He had been gone for three days, and I was worried sick about him. I scooped him up and took him to the nearest vet and thank goodness he was saved. Needless to say he became an indoor only kitty on his return from a week in the hospital. So grateful for being able to share my life with C. Cooper. C. is for Cat of course. |

Cat AcneThe veterinarian told us that the acne would most likely clear up with time, but after reading up a bit more we realized that there were a few things that we could change to help this dermatological dilemma. As it turns out, the oils and fats from kibble and wet food tend to cling to the surfaces of plastic dishes and bowls. Del was rubbing his chin in all of that, which is why he was suffering from "cat acne". After switching to ceramic food dishes, the problem cleared up right away. |

Paka bounces back from jaundiceWhen Paka, a 6 ½ year old Tabby, started turning down tuna fish, treats, and his nightly “kitty massages” Todd, his human, suspected that he wasn’t feeling well. Paka’s playful personality had disappeared, his eating and litter box habits were off routine, and he was sleeping quite a bit more than usual. Worried that these changes in habits were a sign of ill health, Todd decided to take Paka to the veterinarian. Upon examination, Paka was diagnosed with jaundice, a yellowish pigmentation o... |
